Gathering the points from http://seventh-day.50webs.com/, I have come to this synopsis:

'The Seventh Day' is about two people born on the same day, but lead very different lives. The two male leads, Kevin Cheng and Bosco Wong, play two characters that were born on August 7 (the year remains unknown). Kevin's character, 游志穎 (Yau Ji Wing), is a careless, uninhibited lifeguard without a steady occupation, while Bosco's character is a CEO of a coffee shop. Their storylines will be seperate though.

Selena will play Wing's ex, who has AIDS and is suicidal (At one point in the story, Wing will have to fly over to Japan to her). Nikki's character, a pet shop salesperson, has never experience love before, because her family is overprotective of her (she has congenital heart disease, a terminal illness). One day, Wing rescues her and she falls for him. (Thus resulting in a love triangle: Selena - Kevin - Nikki.)

Bosco's character first pursues Natalie's character because he thinks that she is rich, but later finds out that she is only a fishmonger. Their love story will be happier and more light-hearted than Nikki's and Kevin's.



My Thoughts:

My first reaction when I first found out that this was coming was: OMG, A KEVIN AND NIKKI STORY! YAY!

I must confess; I'm a sucker for love stories. The first time I saw Kevin and Nikki together was in 'Under the Canopy of Love,' and their chemistry was great there. Sources say 'The Seventh Day' will be even more romantic than UTCOL, so I really can't wait for this to come out. I find the idea of two people being born on the same day, but leading very different lives to be a refreshing. I don't think TVB has ever used this idea before. I wonder how they link the two storylines together though..

(Taelin must admit that the English title for this series is one of the closest titles TVB has ever made up that is almost identical to the Chinese title. If only they called it: 'The Most Beautiful Seventh Day' (like the theme song), then it would have been identical!)

As for the poster...it's so pretty!

I find Bosco's position weird though. (Is he trying to strangle Natalie??) Well, he did that to Tavia in HOG too.. Anyway, they're both smiling, and their background is a Fall background, which makes it seem that their story is happier. (Which is true.)

Kevin and Nikk's expressions are a bit more solemn, which reflect on their story. The winter background adds to that too.
